Math for Electricians – Self-Paced
45-Hour, State-Approved Study in Mathematics
This 45-hour video course is approved by the State of Maine and is designed to prepare a student for the variety of math equations that an electrician will face on a routine basis. Basic multiplication, division, algebra, trigonometry, and geometry are applied in applications that an electrician would see in real life.
The student is required to have their own copy of the NEC for this course. All other books will be provided.
Prerequisites*: Basic Electricity I, National Electrical Code
*A student taking this course without at least these prerequisites will struggle to understand the application of the math. While the math can be executed, the student will not understand what the purpose is for and may struggle through the basic concepts laid out in the course.
