45-Hour, State-approved foundational study in the NEC. Required for any licensure exam.
Description
This 45-hour course is approved by the state of Maine, accepted by several other states, and is a Self-Paced video series which offers in-depth look at chapters 1-4 of the National Electrical Code and a introduction to chapters 5-8.
Upon completion of videos, students will be required to answer review questions.
After payment (within one business day, but often the same day), you will be sent a link and username via email to to access the course so that you can begin right away.
Additional Books/Materials Required:
- Student must provide his or her own current version of the National Electrical Code Book.
- A set of at least 6 different colored chisel-tipped highlighters.
- A set of the NEC handbook index tabs. These can be purchased directly from the NFPA website.
(NOTE: DO NOT put the tabs in the code book until directed to do so in the course. We will provide some tips and tricks on best practices at the beginning of the course.)
