Basic Electricity I – Self-Paced videos
45-Hour, State-Approved Study in DC Theory
This 45-hour course is approved by the State of Maine and is the foundation for all future classes. Beginning with the most basic building blocks of matter, you will learn about electricity at the atomic level, electron theory, magnetism, electromagnetism, electrical circuits, electrical formulas, series, parallel, and combination circuits. When you finish this program, you will have a firm grasp of the basic principles which govern electricity and how to apply these principles in real-life settings.
Students who choose to take this self-paced course will receive access to videos which correspond to chapter assignments. Upon completion of videos and assigned reading, review questions will be completed in preparation for a final exam.
